It takes a lot of heat to melt metal! I can only have that lid open for a second or it hurts me through the suit. 2000 degrees

materials using TIG welding process. To know how
to use hand brake, slip roller, and TIG welder to
complete assembly per sample. Capable of TIG weld
process on 16ga. 304 SS, 16ga. CRS wire mesh to
12ga. CRS/SS frame.Positions, fits and
welds together parts, using jigs, welding torch,
and hand tools. Set up and operates fabrication
machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears,and drill
presses. Designs and constructs templates and
fixtures, using hand and power tools.
Knowledge-- is required to perform high tolerance measurements and geometry and solve practical problems. Specific knowledge required to satisfactorily perform functions of the job includes:: methods, techniques, materials, tools used in metal fabrication and welding and safety practices and procedures.
