Triumph Tank Done « Lock the welder

Here we have the finished tank. This was a new objective for me- copying an existing tank. Turned out pretty close id say…

Besides making the tank shape itself, I also had to machine 5 pieces from scratch- the aluminum gas cap (made to look like the old triumph one), the female threaded bung, the 2 petcock bungs, and the center stud hole piece for the attachment to the bike. I of course also had to make the wooden buck, and the entire underside of the tank where he has the electronics mounted….
