Proactively seeking Welder Helper candidates for upcoming upstream production facility projects with an oil field construction company in Inglewood, CA. Must have prior oil field experience.
Welder Helpers will be assisting the Structural, Pipe Welders and Rig welders in completing welding jobs for upstream oil production facilities and large pipeline construction projects.
Welder Helpers will be responsible for buffing, grinding, measuring and cutting pipes, fitting pipes, reading blue prints, laying out pipes, gathering materials for welders following blue prints and will be assisting crews completing general labor work.
Welder Helpers must have recent oil refinery or oil field experience as a Welder Helper.
Welder Helper Job Requirements:
-Must have clean 10 year DMV printout with less than 2 points.
-Must be mechanically inclined and work well with taking direction.
-Must have at least 1-3 years experience as a welder's helper.
-Ability to read blue prints, lay pipe, buff and grind pipes, layout pipes following blue prints and completing general labor work.
