Interesting. I've never heard that one before. I'll be curious to see what some of the guys who work on machines regularly think of this. All the XMT's I've run were good machines, but they get run frequently most of the time.
However, you may not get a ton of responses on this the way you titled it. Not sure if some of the guys who usually reply to "problem" threads will see this, as there's no mention of an issue in the title.
