Job Title: Shop Tank Welder (Billings)

Overview:
Manufacture shop built API 650 storage tanks.
Responsibilities:
It is required that all employees exhibit understanding of Bay's corporate Safety Manual.
Welders must be able to layout and fit various seal parts, ladders, platforms, roof parts, nozzles, manways and other equipment designed for use on API 650 storage tanks.
Proficient ability in hand electrode and submerged arc welding are a requirement, experience with 6010, and 7018 electrodes is an asset. Applicants with prior tank building experience are preferred.
You must also have the skill to use oxygen-acetylene cutting equipment and have the ability to operate power tools such as grinders, chipping hammers, and drills.
Qualifications:
• No qualifications are required; however ASME certifications are a plus.
• All candidates must pass a welding test to ASME Section IX before being hired.
• Requires drug test and background check.
