Minimum Requirements: URS Corporation is looking for experienced tradesmen, those with Sheet Metal and Welder experience, to join their O&M team in Wahiawa and Kunia, Hawaii.

Essential Responsibilities:
: • May perform welding operations and sheet metal work/fabrication on site equipment under the direction and supervision of the Utilities Manager. • Fit-up and welding operations, requires ability to perform any welding operation to join, surface, fabricate, or repair parts of metal to support on-site equipment and installations. • Welding requirements for TIG, stick, operation of CNC Plasma Cutter, Carbon Arc Cutting, Gas Weld, Brazing, SST, aluminum welding, and other welding as required. • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Job Description:
Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma or GED is required. • Specific training and thorough knowledge in the particular area of facility maintenance, plus a broad knowledge of other disciplines such as general math, etc. • Three years of related job experience. • Journeymen Welder/Fitter preferred. • American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Certification preferred. • Equivalent combination of education and experience. • Must maintain a valid state driver license and be qualified to operate government general-purpose vehicles. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Preferred: -Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
