Fabricator/Welder (Wyoming) | I Built It One Piece At A Time

Summary: To fabricate parts in accordance with specifications by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

2. Must be able to TIG weld thin wall aluminum effectively.

3. Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.

4. Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.

5. Completes assembly responsibilities to include drilling, tapping, grinding, burring and counter burring.

6. Uses inspection gages such as straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.

7. Reports any malfunctions or equipment problems to management.

8. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.

9. Maintains clean, orderly and safe work areas at all times.

10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
