Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture and installation of structural steel bridge systems. They have a long & successful history and the business is continuing to expand with its operations all over the world.

They currently have an urgent requirement for 2 Submerged Arc Welders with experience in Submerged Arc Welding. This is a fantastic career opportunity for the right individuals. There is excellent scope for career progression and to gain experience in numerous areas of the business.

Experience & responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and hold relevant qualifications or have equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience in the Submerged Arc Welding of large tubular products
• Ideally have experience in one or more of the following industries; offshore, petrochemical plants, rolled plate pressure vessels, road tankers, oil, petrol, liquefied gasses.
• Recent experience in an environment where high quality and/or safety criticality is followed.
• Shift working pattern of 12 hour days, 4 on 4 off. Additional hours as overtime will be required during busy periods and holiday cover.
